At Emerson's Bar & Grill in Philadelphia, legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday gives one of her last performances. She recalls her humble beginnings in Baltimore through to her rise to fame. Featuring over a dozen songs that made 'Lady Day' an American icon, including "God Bless the Child," "Strange Fruit," "Where Our Love Has Gone," and "Ain't Nobody's Business If I Do."
