Songwriters Live at the Z!
Featuring Mary Lou Osterhous

Over the years Mary Lou Osterhous has performed in various groups as well as solo in Virginia and Eastern North Carolina. She has won local and regional song writing contests including taking second place with her band mates in the group Sea Aira in the Marlboro Music Talent Round Up. The band opened for artists such as David Wilcox, Iris Dement, and America. They also released a CD called 'Waiting For A Sign' that featured 10 original songs by Mary Lou and one by her band mate Brent Gable.

Over forty years, Ferebee has developed her unique musical skills, delighting audiences from D.C. to Dallas and entertaining widely in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Her impressive guitar work and powerful vocals, soulfully transport her listeners with an eclectic mix of traditional Flat-Picked Fiddle tunes and Finger-Style Blues, choice New-grass and Americana songs, Jazz standards and nice Originals thrown in for good measure. She also performs with the Tidewater Classical Guitar Orchestra noted for their Virginia Arts Commission engagements throughout the state!
